Vantablack?!
Duke is pleased to introduce you to our newest stable mate, Onyx. He is seriously the blackest black horse I've ever seen in game that isn't a Magic Breed! I even brought my black Dutch Warmblood, Royal, over to compare because I thought Royal was the darkest! 😄
Anyway, I couldn't help myself with all the hype around the newly retrofitted American Quarter Horses, so I purchased this Black Beauty at Starshine Ranch. Camp Western is going on and I am so happy they got rid of the wolves in Firgrove! I am a little disappointed in how they changed the gold mining mechanic to only exist during a 3 minute timed quest, and the hat-stacks are a really strange choice of reward for it. But overall, I am enjoying the event.
At first, I thought that the removal of the seasonal tokens was a bad thing, but I found that it reduced that FOMO feeling of needing to do EVERYTHING to earn them. The "Trail of the Headliner" Trailblazer going on at the same time has been okay too because the devs switched the mechanic back to the where points are farm-able again by picking plants and recyclables, and they removed the daily cap that was implemented for the past few (that everyone absolutely hated!) Just goes to show that SSE does listen to its player base despite all the complaining. 😂
Onto what we are wearing! I am always proud when almost every single item is from completely different sets. The only matching set pieces here are my gloves and Onyx's bridle, and it really ties the outfit and tack together quite nicely!
